God spoke to me this morning about writing again so I got my book, sat down on the couch and starting writing down what He had to say to me. I had not written anything in about a year because of the season I was in. There are seasons for everything and I knew that I was coming to an end of a season and because of that I had been asking Him what is next. I did not think that what He had planned for me was going to bring me right back to where I was a few years ago in a season of writing. One thing I have come to understanding about walking with God is making sure I always stay in His timing. I would love to say that this is easy and I have done a good job, but I would not be telling the truth if I stated that.
I love the new seasons with God, but when He asks me to go back and continue on with something I had done in a past season it feels like I am moving backwards. This is not the case, but it brings us to the place of understanding what is means to walk in timing with God and the joy of starting something new. The challenge is placing it down when it is not finished and picking it back up once you have gone through a time of training and testing. My heart is to go to new levels with God and share them with others, and in order for me to do that I will go through large desert seasons when I feel alone and not doing a whole lot.
Walking in God’s Timing is hard because it requires a lot of faith. You have to trust yourself and believe that you are in the right place even if everything around you is stating something different. God’s Timing does not line up with the World and can even lead you down a different direction than other’s are walking, even those who are close to you. The only way you really know if you are walking in God’s Timing is by hearing His voice. Everything stems from this. It is about walking in relationship with Him. The closer you get to God the harder it is to fall out of His Timing, but Understanding the Timing can take a life time of walking with God.
